  All said, I think I'd just open my door if I were to ever catch him peeking and ask him if there's anything he'd like help with. Then, I'll let him know that he has scared me on a few occasions looking right into my flat like that.
  
  Or, another thing you could do is to put up curtains or blinds and when you notice him looking into your home, to suddenly appear at the window, say, 'Sorry!! Privacy time!' and draw your curtains or close your blinds!
  
  My first reaction to something like that won't be exactly nice... but I've learnt that it's always good to sit down, take a deep breath, and don't react immediately to situations or people because well, I've learnt from my cats, to keep the claws sheathed unless really really necessary! It's classier to look kewl!
  
  

  Maybe you are right, But I have tried subtle hints like glaring at him and tsk tsking when he's near and he doesnt get it.
  
  I have also tried slamming the bloody door when he's just outside and he STILL doesnt get it.
  
  He's either dumb as a doorpost or trying to irrtate me. Take your pick.
  
  Anyway I am pretty sensitive to people wandering outside my house as
  
  1. I lived on the freaking 12th floor and there is no lift or stairways so people dont usually walk by.
  
  2. I am at the end of a freaking long corridor where there is only two flats, me and my neighbours and my neighbours have MOVED away. So yes, my house is nicely isolated. Until he keeps disturbing my peace that is *GRRRRRrrrrrrRRRR*
  
  I have tried my darnest to be cool. But I cant help myself any longer as there was a few incidents where my laudry from the corridor went missing and I got really mad about it.
  
  
  
  What the hell is wrong with PEOPLE ?????
  
  Dont they have better things to do than wander along corridors peeping into neighbours houses without the simple idea of consideration and privacy ? Dont they have better things to do than STEAL MY CLOTHES ???

  maybe it's not the creepy fella who steals them but if you tell the cops, and they happen to be around when the creepazoid hangs around, he's going to be interrogated...
  
  and after that, i don't think he'll be hanging around anymore

  YES !!! MY CLOTHES KANNA STOLEN !!!
  
  And not just once but several times. I have no choice but to dry my laundry along the corridors but the damn thing is, they keep on missing after a few months. At the rate of about 2 pieces every 3 mths. I have tried staying outside my house and waited till 3, 4am with a tennis racket to no avail.

  it's a bit tricky cos the corridor is public domain... and u can't stop ppl from accessing it.. it's like a grey area in hdb flats, and always a major cause of disputes among neighbours..

  if it's more than harmless irritation, u have to do something..... go downstair and tell the NPP that wat's happening and ur clothes got stolen! preferably with pics of him loitering outside ur flat.

  a webcam is cheap and best of all, it's small enough to be hidden...
  
  connect to your PC and set to record a still pic every 30 seconds...
  
  send pic to the cops to get the guy arrested..
