When he was still alive, my grandpa once told me that in order to see and even communicate with spirits and ghosts, you have to first believe that they exist.Originally posted by Rhonda:No idea. Haven't had the opportunity to sit down with my new colleagues to talk about it. Just heard snippets of it as we went about work.
I didn't believe in them much because I never got to see them... until my encounter with them at work. When more than five people report seeing the same thing at different times, and independant of each other, you have to believe!
Anyways, I work in a place with a large concentration of spiritual activity - it's kinda like a terminal station for the afterlife- so, the chances of getting a hair-raising experience is definitely much higher!

Regarding Cowboy Bebop: did you know that Faye Valentine was originally from Singapore? In one of the later episodes in the series, Faye received a Betamax tape containing a 'visual diary' she made during her school years. The footage in the tape showed the Merlion and the Sheares Bridge.Originally posted by the Bear:i think the most heart-breaking one i watched was in Gunslinger Girl...

I've always tried to keep an open mind about such things, but I have yet to experience my first 'otherworldly' encounter. The spirits are boycotting me for some reason!
