Try to get established somewhat in your career. When you turn 40, it is difficult to find a new job. Employers are not interested to take on a 40 year old and train up from scratch. By all means hop around and find a job you like in your 20s. But decide on one and be good at it in your 30s. Get a niche job where your skills will still be needed for some time.
My greatest regret: not settling down with a family in my 30s. It is harder when you turn 40: we get more rigid in our ways and enjoy our freedom a bit too much.
Be careful that in your search for to establish your career you sacrifice the second objective of establishing a family. -
