Hey, kopiosatu, since you ride a motorbike, I'll ask you this - what if you are too tall for your bike, won't you end up hunched over?
I mean, the bikes come in a fixed size and are non-adjustable so won't people of different heights experience different comfort levels when riding the motorbike?
Sorry if it sounds like a stoopid question but I'm really curious.

Actually, I tried learning once and kinda succeeded. I can cycle straight but I fall over when I take turns.

The Honda Metro IS gorgeous, white and black goes with everything! But I was thinking if we rode the Dodge Tomahawk (see previous page, Bear's post) , we wouldn't have to bother with balancing at all cos the wheels are so broad Of course, there's the problem of totally mauling our leg if we fall over. I love scooters! They're so cute and good for travelling around the neighbourhood! I guess if I land in Australia and can't afford a car, I'll have to zip around in a scooter first. I reckon they're cheaper and easier to learn how to ride. I think! -

My recollection of S'pore's are those ah pek, and then the shirts, last few bottom buttons boh button so as they ride, fly, fly like that. Also, they wear sandals or slippers. -

LAN is a computer term that stands for local area network. A LAN party is when a group of computer gamers get together and hook their computers up to form a network in order to play games with/against each other. It's very addictive, and our LAN parties typically have at least 10 participants who play continuously for 12 hours or more.
Yup, the painting of the bathroom is done, so I'll be able to get out and enjoy the cool weather this weekend.

I can relate to that also lah, Cammy.......that phobia and kia see thing. Shy even to say live here so long, never been to ice skate and skiing. And then big time favourite sport is ice hockey some more!!!

well...from what i know....Iran started their nuclear plant despite UN nuclear watchdog(IAEA) of sancations...well i guess Pyongyang might resume their nuclear power plants....if this really happens....the world will be a much dangerous place to live in

It's not 12 continuous hours. We have staggered breaks for lunch and dinner. If the person hosting the LAN party is nice enough, he or his wife will cook for us; otherwise, we usually just order a few large pizzas. Our longest LAN party took place last winter. It started a little before noon on a Saturday and lasted till about 4 a.m. Sunday morning.
In Cantonese, I believe lan means "broken."

Menu ah? Main is mee rebus, side is tahu goreng (the peanut sauce, I cheat, bought those products from Indonesia......hmmm.....spicy and sedap) and centre dish is chilli crabs. Dessert is ice kacang and another sweet. Still undecided. Wanted to do cassava but can't find it at my regular grocer. May end up with kueh serimuka if I have enough time.
Do you cook or care enough about food? My friends (mostly M'sians/S'poreans) do (what else is new). -
