It's really odd - I get stages in my life when almost all my pals are busy or overseas and I feel so alone and then suddenly, they're all back or suddenly free and then I'm a busy social bee!
It's always good to meet up and catch up with old buddies again and make new friends with like-minded folks because frankly, shallow relationships just doesn't cut it for me!

Meat prices in Singapore are still pretty ok. As long as there's no Mad Cow Disease, Bird Flu, and Japanese Encephalitis (which affects pigs), the prices are pretty stable. -

I dunno what i was doing. I walked out of the house with cigarettes, wallet and car key... and i was like.. where is my house key? I had to drive and show someone 1/4 way to where he was going. -

I still have old schoolfriends in Singapore, and try to make it a point to meet them whenever I return. Some were really good friends, but distance and separation have done much to cool those friendships, and exchanging e-mails doesn't quite take the place of personal interaction. As a result, those formerly close friends and I have all but drifted apart.

the cheesy mushroom melba toasties still taste as great
