The best solution I've found for removing bird crap and tree sap is regular isopropyl alcohol (i.e., 'rubbing alcohol') that you can get from the local pharmacy for cheap. It'll dissolve the gunk without harming the vehicle's finish.

Yeah, I'm pretty lazy when it comes to washing my cars too. I'll occasionally hand-wash my summer car, but my year-round/winter beater gets the "drive real fast through the rain and puddles" treatment. It really helps to spray some dishwashing detergent on the top of the car first, before heading out into the rain.

There are waaaay too many documents and all that to read online when preparing for my licence and PR applications!
It becomes too confusing!
