By now, the remaining water in the bottle is almost 2 wks' old. Do you think I can still drink it, or would it have little shrimps in there? I just took a mouthful.

You'll be shocked to find out the amount and diversity of bacteria that thrives in our oral cavities.Consider these :
- Before patients undergo heart surgeries, they HAVE to go for a dental appt because bacteria in our mouth can cause nasty infections that might be fatal when a patient is weak after an operation;
- I've personally nursed a case where a patient ended up in the ICU with a nasty brain infection, and they traced the source to... a tooth decay!!!![]()
If you want to, you can do this experiment, and do so in the spirit of that rottenmeat site!
Buy a piece of yam cake... take a bite out of it. Set it aside and leave it for a few days. When you next check on it, you would have noticed that the part of the yam cake with your teeth marks would have more manifestations of bacterial growth than on the rest of the cake.
So, gee, I know my reply is late but DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT drink that water! It's now an ocean brimming with microbes!
Okie, okie, I didn't drink it after that mouthful which I took before posing the question (no harm done...heng!). Would it help if I had pour the water out into a cup before drinking? Would the bottle of water be able to keep clean for 2 wks? Someone else mentioned he took 1 mth to finish his water while in the army.Originally posted by Rhonda:Don't drink it!!

Still, $780 is too much to pay for for a helmet. How much does the low-end ones cost? May need one when I decide to go take up motorbike lessons. I think Vespas are so cute.Originally posted by kopiosatu:Quality helmet~ aerodynamic... tilt it at the correct angle and you don't feel the wind pushing your neck back. And the ventilation is top notch too.
not take 1 month to finish lah...Originally posted by Wanda:Okie, okie, I didn't drink it after that mouthful which I took before posing the question (no harm done...heng!). Together with other beverages, it often takes me a wk to finish a bottle of that distilled water...so far, no major problem. Thanks for sharing the knowledge!![]()

That sounds like 3 to 5 mths and very cute! I almost wanted to ask you to measure their length with a ruler.Originally posted by the Bear:small enough to be helpless and big enough to mew a lot and run around playfully
Super cheap ones?Originally posted by Wanda:Still, $780 is too much to pay for for a helmet. How much does the low-end ones cost? May need one when I decide to go take up motorbike lessons. I think Vespas are so cute.![]()

So, what did you do with them? Probably can eat soft solids, e.g. Whiska foil pack kitten (wet) food. Or can use dry food, just soak them first in water to become semi solid, and provide water.
Okie, with ppl who keeps cat food in their lockers around, the kitties are in very good hands.Originally posted by the Bear:either the next shift went to look for the mother (unlikely)
or a couple of cat-lovers took them home..
one actually had soft cat food in her locker.. i think they gave the kittens some...
why does she have cat food in her drawer in the first place ? .....Originally posted by Wanda:Okie, with ppl who keeps cat food in their lockers around, the kitties are in very good hands.![]()
