Hello, paperflower!Originally posted by paperflower:what boring afternoon...... imaginning my salsa dancing again...
good day rhonda!
I have an American friend who's a pre-med student and he told me that as he's been trained in First Aid, he makes sure he keeps a mini First Aid Kit in his car boot. It has come in handy on quite a few occasions when he stopped to help road traffic accident victims.Originally posted by Fatum:you know ... when i was in final year at poly, a few mates and I actually started up a company with exactly this idea in mind ! ....
we wanted to sell a line of first aid kit designed for various places, car, home, camping, travelling etc ......
but we switched to distributing hello kitty trinkets to pushcarts and pasar malams instead .... poor response ... people simply don't care ....
still think it's a good idea actually ... should be something implemented by law ...
So why didn't u take part?Originally posted by Rhonda:Hello, paperflower!
It's a super hot day today.Wish I had airconditioning in the house.
I know of colleagues who attended salsa classes. They were saying that it's very easy to attend a salsa class single, and come out attached!![]()

I suspect that I have a mild one too.Originally posted by the Bear:i think i've got a sleep disorder
MUAHAHA,i slept close to 6 after going to bed at 5,and forced myself to wake up at 1.30..Though my normal sleep pattern is from 4-2..Originally posted by Rhonda:I suspect that I have a mild one too.
Last night, after logging off at about 3:30am, I went to bed... and couldn't fall asleep at all!!
So, I would lie in bed, get up and play my GBA, decide to try to sleep again, wake up again and play my GBA... Finally, I gave up trying to sleep at about 5am, dressed up and went for an early breakfast round about 6am!
Fell asleep after breakfast and woke up at 2pm. My sleep pattern's totally screwed up!
Bear, I think it's a shift worker thing.![]()

I'm soooo envious thinking about the huge feast you're going to have later, after your bowling session!Originally posted by the Bear:i like my sleep disorder
maybe i go drink too much caffeine later and see how horribly a caffeine-poisoned ursine is able to bowl

Orh i thought its for home use and not so serious accidents..Originally posted by the Bear:no need..
if it's for a car crash, these are essential...
the 1st 2 items are to prevent hypovolumic shock, the rest is to immobilise and to stop profuse bleeding..
the rest can be done in the hospital
You just had a feast yesterday..Originally posted by Rhonda:I'm soooo envious thinking about the huge feast you're going to have later, after your bowling session!Newton again, right?
