Y'know, it's interesting how you guys were talking about what distinguishes a Singaporean from the crowd when overseas.
When I was in New York City with my American ex, I was shocked when an Asian lady at the next table looked over, and asked me, 'Excuse me, I couldn't help listening ... but, are you a Singaporean?' And I was
!! 
I later asked her how she knew and she said, 'Oh, easy... by your accent!' and I was stupefied... because I never used Singlish when talking to my ex - he'd never understand it - so... hmm... interesting!!
Turns out she's a retired nurse from Singapore, visiting a nurse-friend working in NYC! At that time, I remembered thinking, darn... how I wish I was a nurse working in NYC!!

I've been feeling so ill these past two days, and last night was especially bad!
I've been having my ol' backache and kneeache which got progressively worse from Sunday, and then last night, I was all feverish and had awful body aches and nasal drip! I couldn't even bring myself to log online because I was just too lethargic and bone-weary! Sorry... missed you guys for two days straight. 
Today, I just couldn't bring myself to step out of the house to go to work so I think it's better that I go and see a doc. Funny, I work in a place where there are sooo many docs but I have to 'go and see a doc'.
I have no idea why I'm having such bad bodyache... maybe, I NEED an Osim iPamper... but wondering... does it come with a hunk to operate it on me, as shown in the TV ads?? 
dunno why i see the osim chair got chang fei, like sit in the chair liddat, chang fei will come and massage u and maybe even take advantage of u -

I don't like to take MC unless I'm really ill and cannot guarantee that I won't commit mistakes like serve wrongs meds, etc. Under such circumstances, it's better that I just take MC.
Like today, whole body's aching, mind's a mess, and having a real nasty nasal dripping... not sure I can take care of my patient(s) and run his kidney dialysis machine smoothly and swiftly, so better stay home.
He's very ill and can collapse anytime... and I feel like collapsing myself... so better stay home. -

CSI fans, take note - tonight, CSI: NY on AXN at 9pm! And then, right after that show, switch to good ol' Channel 5 for CSI at 10pm, where John Grisham and gang are on to yet more gruesome cases!
And, the trailer for the two back-to-back episodes of '24' this coming Thursday evening looks really interesting too! -
