Last night's outing was pretty fun, wasn't it?

The full moon was really yuan2 and liang4. And nope... no one recited poems!

Bear's right... the lanterns are sooo funny!! You have dinosaurs moving their heads left and right, then there's this pre-recorded sound, 'Aaaaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwww!!!'.

A lot of the 'lanterns' are sooo corny!

It's more for the little kiddos!

I thought there would be those traditional large lanterns from China, like they had for a few years, but the only things from China were the artisans, who were there selling their craft like dough figurines, rainbow calligraphy, and malt candies made on-the-spot to resemble creatures like dragons, butterflies, etc.
We made a stop at the pagoda, which was closed because every floor had a colourfully-lit dragon encircling the entire corridor. We carried paper lanterns around and Bear kept talking about burning several sparklers at the same time to burn down the place!

Overall, it was a pretty good experience. Anyways, none of us had gone to the Chinese Garden for such an event before in previous years, so now, at least we've done it once in our lifetime!

Will put up the photos soon.
