In a way we are,he gone against his parents wishes etc.And upon hearing the news i was still like wtf,dun come and tok cock hor i playing game now..When hearing how he died,i could immediately predict the scenario,a non-chinese ramming a ball at close range, however stereotyped in might sound, from experience i always realized that malays and indians like ramming the ball real hard..Anyway thats one reason why i don't and never will like SP.Tell me,how on earth in a school as big as a polytechnic hold a sports competition with no special medics on hand?
well Stellazio, I was from SP too ! ...

thing is, shit happens, the incompetence of a few in charge should not be constructed as the incompetence of all, accidents do happen, and often there's nothing much you can do about it, would medics on hand really have helped ? ... anyways, i used to be in the red cross chapter of SP, what happened ? ... they didn't have medics on hand then ? ...
i remember a few incidents when i was in the army, there was one particularly bad incident when the coy was doing repelling training at commando clift, near changi airbase, a PS slipped and fell when he was demonstrating free style repelling, a man falling from a clift is a horrifying sight, another time someone just knelt over and died after the obligatory 12 pull-ups before lunch, (some say he was possesed, or so i was told), i remember prowling around camp with him only a few weeks before, and talking about what we'd do after army, next i know he was gone, and i've attended a military funeral of some freshly botak private who conked out from a lung infection, a most prosaic way to die, shit happens, and gosh it hurts, but you shouldn't blame yourself or others eh .... karma ... perhaps it was his time .....
condolences ...
