Good morning MG (if you have checked in).
Guess what? The "cat" caught me.
Last evening I told you gas was at $1.03. I woke up to $1.19!!!!! 
But I had no choice but to go to the pump this morning. 
I had CNN on most of last night watching the aftermath of Katrina. I am shocked. Three seals actually washed ashore and one had to be put down.
Another story was this B&B owner was clinging on to the tree in front of her house together with six other people. Four of them go swept away. I think this scene will never be erased from her memory. So sad. Yah lah, come to sob story, I am a real sucker. A real softie, I am.

well, sometimes i'm 180cm, sometimes i'm 183cm, depending on what time of the day
and i've not gone anywhere near a bathroom scale in ages coz they're EVIL
i ate a sausage roll, a chicken foldover, a litre of apple juice, about 15 assorted biscuits, some chicken, a plate of rice and a bowl of cabbage soup
oh.. and 55gm of M&Ms
the price of petrol is sickening.. but i've not gone to the station for the past 4 days so i'm not too sure what it is now... US$70 a barrel is way too much.. and you can thank the yanks and Dubbya the Chimp for that.. -

just wondering.. new orleans is below sea level and the place is called "the bowl"... it's worrying if it fills up and how are they going to pump out the water?
it'll be mixed with all the crap like sewerage and stuff..
damn.. i would like to visit new orleans before i kick the bucket one day.. -

Or the puffiness of your hair? But you got hair or not? It seems this baldness thing is hitting young adults too. 
Anyways, you ARE right. It is indeed too much food. So, how do you burn those extra calories? Actually, I shouldn't talk. I don't think I eat too much but even that, just by looking or smelling food, the pounds are bullish.
Actually, New Orleans reminds me of the song, Proud Mary. -

In New Orleans, the looting has begun in earnest. Every picture and video I've seen thus far of the situation there shows the looters as being all black. Gee, what a surprise.

and how to burn the calories away? i just don't eat.. i don't eat lunch during the morning shifts and don't eat dinner during the afternoon shifts -
Skipping meals?

When you skip meals, your body shut down in preparation for starvation, so you actually do not lose weight leh.

Errr........don't ask me ah. I'm merely repeating what my dietitian told me. -

Several diet plans I've read about call for the consumption of small quantities of food at regular intervals throughout the day, instead of the traditional big meals at breakfast, lunch and dinner.
How effective are such plans?

i dunno.. i lost a lot of weight when i ate just enough not to be hungry, and when i was hungry, i sorta ignored it for a while..
well, also, a broken heart then helped
think i'll go back to that diet without the broken heart this time -
I lost 7kg in 3weeks,when i was severly ill with dengue and others.But promptly gained it back in 2-3 weeks time..
