There's this Korean period drama here, 'Da4 Chang2 Jing1', that seems to be very popular now. I've not watched it yet, but there has been lots of publicity for that show. Immensely popular here.

I know. The craze is still in the air. It was first shown on our Mandarin channel, like daily but I never did catch it. I'm not into Korean drama/movies. But I keep seeing it on the Chinese entertainment news. Now, it is shown on our Cantonese channels but on Saturdays only. I'm more HKG or even Sg and China/TWN/HKG/Sg collaboration type. Especially wu xia. I like wu xia to modern days. Currently watching The Dragon Heros, starring our very own Christopher Lee and there is Yvonne Lim and one other lady who looks like Ivy Lee. The rest of the cast from HKG, Taiwan and China. Wait a minute, that's only one.
And then, I was watching Wars-In-Laws which finished not too long and at the same time catching Healing Hands III (in progress). Am also watching The Twin Heros, Nick Tse and Dicky Cheung.
How? Impressed? Or

I love love love watching wu xia series!! I have watched all the older remakes of the Condor Heroes. It's a really fantastic series! She4 Diao1 Ying1 Xiong2 Zuan4, then there was Dong1 Xie2 Xi1 Du2, then erm... Shen2 Diao1 Xia2 Lu3... eh... like one part missing.
I remember one friend talking about the ''Condor Heroes" so fast, she mispronounced it as the "Condom Heroes"! So I asked, "That one is an XXX-rated one, ah?"
I also love 'Heaven Sword and Dragon Sabre' (Yi3 Tian1 Tu2 Long2 Ji4). I love the Hong Kong version with Tony Leung as the male lead. I watched the Adam Cheng version, the really old '70s version and it was more comical than anything! The kung fu fighting in there was soooo amateurish!

I still remember the theme songs of some of the Cantonese Wu Xia TV series I watched when I was in Primary One onwards. I still remember Roman Tam's Xiao2 Li3 Fei1 Dao1 song!
I also remember the Dao1 Shen2 song. And etc etc etc. Even the non-wuxia Cantonese drama that starred the late Leslie Cheung, Fu2 Shen1 Liu4 Jie2. littlestream, you remember that one?
I remember having this huge huge crush on the Xiao2 Yu2 Er2 character in Jue2 Dai4 Shuang1 Jiao1. I was soooo in love then, that my ah ma would always yell out, 'Oi! Oi!! Di eh Xiao Yu Er de dian xi kee liao! Kami lai kuah!!'
I often daydream that I'm some wuxia character one. When I was younger, lah!! I even dreamt of new scripts and designed my lead actress' costumes and hairstyle!! -

That yi tian one right? I know many prefer the older productions but I like the 2002 production starring Lawrence Ng, Gigi Lai and Chermain Sheh. -

Which means, it shall take me SEVEN years to reach my last-drawn corporate income through nursing!!
And that's provided the annual increment is 5%, which is kinda unheard of. It's more like 2.5-4%. Oh man... it might take me more than 10 years!!
Now, tell me why I shouldn't migrate! -
