  I had fried rice, 2 stingrays, lots of dim sum, 2 ice milo and 1 teh this morning at JB! Total cost... 88 ringgit, almost 30 ringgit each.

  HOLY CRAP! You're right, that is cheap!
  
  By the way, I didn't realize the exchange rate between the Singapore dollar and Malaysian ringgit had gotten that severely lopsided. I still remember back in the early '70s, when my family and I made frequent trips up to KL and Ipoh to visit relatives, the two currencies were almost on par.

  where did you eat exactly ? .... eating in malaysia is indeed a joy .... but some places practise dual pricing systems, a price for malaysians, a price for singaporeans ...
