I lost my library card twice now, and the second time i dun even bother to replace it cos $$$. luckily no one found my lost card yet

When my old phone died on me, I felt reeeeeely bad about all the lost phone numbers... until it occured to me that if my friends miss me and think about me too, they will call me. OK, it's like this... if I lost my $500 digicam, that's it... I won't be able to afford a replacement until maybe end of 2006 because my budget's tied up with something huge.
So, instead of having to suffer from the loss of my digicam through theft, I ought to be vigilant with it!
It's not some cheem life philosophy thing for me. It's pure dollars and cents and pragmatism. -
