the reason why he's called elephant man was because when his mother was baout to give birth to him, she has struck down by an elephant, he was born ok but then tumors started to appear. -
what caused his deformaties was not because of his mother being struck by an elephant, it was because of his syndrome

Actually, we're all lucky here. Imagine the young folks who already have a whole list of medical problems and can't live life with the same abandon that we are able to.
