By the way, it's raining here too, but at least I had with me this marvelous 21st century invention that helps keep people dry: the umbrella.

Yeah, early tonight cause I decided to stay home! Only went out for a satay dinner with my parents just now. Then, wandered over to Holland V and my mom got me a skirt! Yippeeeeee!!! Now, I have a new skirt to match with my new top that I bought yesterday! Very very happy!!
Gee, I didn't know that you can block the longkang in bowling one! I think Bear's trying to organise one for the Club 30 gang.
I mentioned Lontong in the thread you started about local food so maybe, my fault! I love Lontong! With a lot of sambal on the side, please!! -

Well, I've done so much retail therapy so far that I have to 'lie low' for the rest of the month until next payday!
Which is really darn bad news... cause there are still a few more articles of clothing I would really have loved to get!
The thing is, the fashion wheel has turned right back to how it was back in the '80s! And I love the clothes on the racks now!! Long, flowy skirts, pastels, ribbons, sequins and flowers ... it's moving back to a more feminine look and I love it!
I just walked past a boutique, Chomel, recently and they were finally carrying stuff I like! The last time I remembered liking their clothes was back in the '80s! So, I joked to my friend, "I'd take one of each design please, thank you!". You shoulda seen his face!

Hey, Rhonda........I like your little animated thingy, so cute.
Yah lor, inspite of my brolly, still the hair so messy and kay kian, wear open toes some more. This will teach me a lesson, to pay attention to the news. Actually, I always have. We dressed accordingly to the weather but this morning, I had to prepare my son's lunch so eat into some of my morning time. I prepared black forest ham wrap for him. Yummmy........if only I didn't eat so much mooncake, I would have made some for myself too. In my lunch bag, are only fruits. Yeah, fruits diet. Otherwise, come Fall, I won't be able to get into my pants.
Aiyoh, Rhonda......I do miss lontong. And yeah, I agree with what you wrote about eating food that we don't usually prepare at home or cubersome to do it.
