You'd better go get your car prepped for winter soon. Are winter driving conditions in TO adverse enough to warrant the use of snow tires?
Since coming here, I've only been skiing twice. Didn't really care much for it, as the equipment rental and lift tickets were terribly expensive (I don't own any of my own ski equipment). Plus, I' m not exactly the epitome of grace on skis--if you see an Asian guy tumbling down the 'bunny' slope with his skis and poles following not far behind, that'll most likely be me.
There's probably enough of an Asian community here to be able to find mooncakes at some of the Asian grocery stores, but I haven't looked. Actually, what I [b]really miss are the pineapple tarts served during the Lunar New Year.

Hee hee.....your skiing experience. Bunny hill ah? Well, at least you dare try. In any case, you do have two feathers on your cap already. Your flying licence and that firing range thingy. Imagine, you tell people "I'm going to the range." And they asked "which golf course?"
Oh, pineapple tarts.......I love it. Did you read that I "swallowed" 11 mini pineapple-filled mooncakes. Oh, the pastry was really thin and the filling so generous. Oh, I feel like a pig.
