But I thought they say Miata is a cheap sports car? I don't know much about cars but when I was at the Chrysler dealership (hubby drives a caravan), I saw this Crossfire. Very hot. Told hubby to trade in his van for this but he said it's too low for winter driving. And we are not prepared to have three vehicles. Pockets not deep enough and this is actually a nice to have and not a must have. -

Oh, yeah hor, MG........it should be swiss cheese but it cost more lah. And yes, you are right about having those veggies. Actually, I only have the veggies if I am preparing and eating it right away. If like to a picnic, I usually leave it out too.

The Miata is by no means a 'cheap' vehicle. It is a very reliable and economical 'sports' car that is incredibly fun to drive. The 2-liter engine might be somewhat anemic, but what it lacks in raw horsepower, it more than makes up in maneuverability. The Miata tracks like it's on rails. A good friend of mine owns a 2001 Miata and he lets me drive it every once in a while in summer (with him along, of course!); it's hard to wipe the silly grin off your face after you've thrown the Miata through some winding roads out in the country.
The next time you're at that Singaporean-owned Mazda dealership, ask to test drive a Miata.
Oh, and avoid the Crossfire. Take a look at the latest Consumers Report magazine and read about its reliability rating.
