Hubby is now recovering although doctors still don't know what was wrong. He was under observation for a while but all tests returned normal so he got sent home. I am still watching out for him, though.
I think I will take a sabbatical leave from Club30. I doubt I make good company, anyways. But truly, thank you very much for the virtual friendship. I wish you all well.

MG, sbs, I wasn't on earlier today because after my Evening shift, I went out to celebrate with a good friend!!
I got my IELTS results today and...
My score's fantastic!! I've got the highest score that I know so far! I'm 0.5 marks short of Grade 9, which is the highest score possible, and it's for an 'Expert User'.
Yippeeeeeee!!!
Freaky thing was, I was praying about my results just this afternoon, and I told God, 'I know a 9 is not possible, but please give me the next highest, and definitely not lower than the highest score I know so far - 8!' And then I thought, 'Hmm... an 8.5 would be beyond my wildest imagination!' And... I got it!!! -
Do they still play that piece at college graduations?
For whatever reason, your mentioning P&C reminded me of that seriously warped, coming-of-age high school romance animé sitcom series, His and Her Circumstances (Japanese title: Kareshi Kanojo no Jijyo).

But, I thought, it's better to face reality and proceed as planned.
Contact the agent either tomorrow or the next day, then get the necessary paperwork ready. My colleagues were all saying that with such a great score, things will proceed smoothly. In about 3-4 months, I shall be touching Australian soil!! Whooooopeeeeee!!! -

OK, I decided to vainly hunt for my misplaced Certificate of Registration with the Singapore Nursing Board... Mom and Dad are ok with it. In fact, they're very happy about it. Odd, isn't it? Mom was 'supportive' when I told her I was heading to the US. She had her reservations about me going there alone and what-not, but nevertheless, fears and worries aside, she tried hard to be a supportive mom.
When I changed my direction and decided on Australia, BOTH mom AND dad were pretty ecstatic. -
OK, let you in on a secret...
Mom and dad got used to not having me around the house when I moved out to live alone at 21. I schemed for things to happen that way because I thought they needed to be 'trained' to accept my absence!
For the past few years, I've been subtly planting the msg in their heads that I will most likely migrate. And now, a few years later, they're pretty used to the idea and even relish it!
Next, to get them used to me being in Australia so that when I complete my basic degree and Post-Grad specialisation diploma(s), they will be accustomed to the idea that I might head to the US to further my studies and work there!
Time... all it takes is time! To weave an intricate tapestry, you just need to make sure all the little threads are singularly woven over time!
They say Scorpios are scheming and cunning... Izzit??
