The disunity in the ranks of the bus spotters saddens me. However, what I was trying to put across to Stellazio was that sometimes, leading moderators are forced to put their enemies in positions of power. Anyways, car owners, how often do you wash your car. Mine? So far this year? Once or twice. 
For my year-round "winter beater" vehicle, I'll spray some diluted dishwashing detergent on it and drive through a rainstorm in the non-winter months. In winter, I'll occasionally send it through an automated car wash.
My summer-only vehicle is hand-washed and waxed.

Wah, crabs. Yummy. But with BBQ ones, sometimes, the flesh get stuck to the shell leh. We mostly have the Vancouver crabs which is like the Sri Lanka species. Very hugh. And then, there's the flower crabs. There is another species but I don't know what they are called. Soft shell crabs are sold frozen but I don't know how to cook them but love to eat.
Errrr........Bear, I was touching up my make up and then ding ding, I was thinking about your date with that facial thingy. How? Pain or not? -

these guys are going great guns!
they were cooking.. of all things, pearl meat! the oyster that produces cultured pearls.. when the pearls are harvested, the oyster meat goes for about A$100 a kilo!
now they're cooking barramundi... they're in the same family as the Bass.. -

Oh, diluted dishwashing detergent? Really? Maybe I should have a go with it before returning the car to dealership. They will soon be sending someone over to inspect. It's going to cost me about $1k to fix. I've got a quote done already. Yeah, I did knock something. My garage.

My friend told me the best fish to eat is don't know what mahi mahi. Never eaten it. She lived in the US so maybe they have it there. Have you heard of it? -

a mahi-mahi is a dolphin fish, which is not to be mistaken for dolphins

Yup, they use ungodly amounts of sand and salt to keep the roads clear of snow and ice in winter over here. The salt really does a number on cars, and you'd be hard-pressed to find a vehicle on the road without some amount of visible corrosion on it. That's why many people here own two vehicles: a regular "non-winter" car, and a corroded "winter beater." -

Mna, you'd think that by this time manufacturers would have figured out what to do about that corrosion. I can see the sense of the detergent idea, but wouldn't you have to do that almost on a daily basis after the last coat washes off? -
Well, it is a beater vehicle that already has rust holes in the bodywork (especially around the wheel arches), so I'm not too particular about keeping it clean, just presentable. One thing I learned a long time ago: never, ever, send your car through a car wash on frigid winter days. Sure, the car wash facility and water are heated, but whatever water isn't blown off during the drying phase, freezes on your drive back. In other words, water in the keyholes, locks, and around the door frames freeze, meaning you can't open the doors until the water melts. I had this happen to me a long time ago, after I came back from washing the car on a particulary cold winter day. The doors were frozen shut and the windows wouldn't roll down, so I had to exit the vehicle by folding down the rear seatback, crawling into the trunk, and pushing the trunklid open (which, fortunately, wasn't frozen shut). -
