I'll be in and out of here throughout the day. Our division got reorganized a couple of weeks ago and the tech supervisor of the functional group I was switched to is a @#$%&@! micromanager. Yesterday, for example, the @#$%&@! came into my cube a total of nine times (yes, I was keeping count!)just to ask how my projects were going. It wouldn't be so bad if he just asked quickly and left, but this @#$%&@! would stay and ramble on and on about how he thought a particular aspect of a project should be done, and kept wanting to know where I was at. I kept having to steer each conversation towards a conclusion because the @#$%&@! just wouldn't shut up and leave me to continue working.Originally posted by the Bear:opening for the night...

In the future, if I ever miss a project deadline and management wants to know the reason, I'll just put in my status report that these little project status update meetings with the @#$%&@! micromanager took up too much time.
(Of course, I'll leave the "@#$%&@!" out of the status report.)

Oh, sorry to hear, MG. Yikes, I would hate to be in that position. I don't know if being a female, I can get away with putting on a sulky face and showing impatience and any actions to hint to that @#$%^ to back off and shoo.

I've got work myself but nothing that needs overdrive. But perhaps after a long lay off, I may need to get brain cells organized.

Well, when someone gets fedup, anything can be spitted out -
not just fed up... we're there for about 18 hours straight and he keeps asking every few minutes..
then another boss disgraced herself (again), she kept trying to push the responsibility of sending a report to us because (i kid you not!) she wants to go home... while we pulled a 26-hour non-stop shift, she wants to go home!!Originally posted by sbst275:Fed up is it?
