Ok.. reference back to pole dancing again. However it's something i'm passionate about and love doing. ALl my life i've always thought that i'm slack and lazy and hate exercising. but it was cos i didn't enjoy working out at the gym at all.
In pole, i tell myself that i give myself another 2 weeks to do the climb and i did it. I told myself yes yes yes i can reach the top, i'm gonna do it. And i did. Never realised how powerful the mind is.
My gf used to mount the pole and then tell herself nah i'm slipping. And she continually did this to herself. Mount, can't do it can't do it. And she would jump off for about 5 lessons. I told her the day before the classes, i said you have to imagine yourself climbing it and reaching the top and tell yourself that YOU CAN DO IT and that you're not slipping at all, move upwards. And she managed to get at least halfway! I was so proud.

Rhonda, wait till you meet one of my friends who has been sitting on her butt for the last 3 years getting supported by her boyfriend when she has no kids, nothing to do at all at home. Then you'll think that's cool that women are using what they have to support themselves. A lot of students do it cos they cannot find another job that supports them. Lots of out of work dancers etc.
