Their Pizza Hut serves real gd drumlets. Super cheep.. excellent service too.
For shopping, besides the malls like MBK, Siam Sq/discovery centre, World Trade Centre, don't miss the Suan Lum nite bazaar, chatuchak wkend market & pratunam market!

) ...but at least there's also a pasar malam where we can eat till we drop! And I can eat Marybrown there.

went to chatuchak market .. huge place ... very hot but can get some great bargins !
the another gem is suan lum night market .. very nice place to check out, basically a cleaner and more orderly version on chatuchak.
night life .. waaa i managed to get to this place called The Bed Supper Club

Marybrown is machiam KFC except the chicken is less oily, more tasty and they have vegetable salad....and I can buy it in M'sian Ringit.
I think the "monsoon season" warning is about possible persistent rain. -

Hey, folks... is it true that in BKK, you can only find garments in smaller sizes? That's what my colleagues said. Apparently, you can only find clothes in petite sizes.
So, I asked, "What about the big-sized Caucasians?"
They claimed that these folks can only purchase the huge, 'free-size' sarong wear there.
How true is this? -
Hmmm...cannot be, right? I'm sure the Thais are astute enough to cater to bigger sized caucasians.
I did find things which aren't sold here, e.g. Guy Laroche lingerie.... Found them many years' ago...was really good. Also found them in KL. Otherwise, I don't think imported brands are cheaper there due to their high import taxes.
One thing's for sure. They don't have Ikea in Thailand (AFAIK)...coz my Thai ex-colleague used to clamour to visit Ikea when she visited Sg...no matter how tight her schedule was. -

You have to go Thailand to see for yourself.
All the girls there are slim and petite. Not small though, but really slim...hmm...
So thos Big sized, really gotto go to those tourist-oriented shops to get their clothings.
Their Traditional shop sells huge fabric wear too.
