Coca-cola just got hammered with a US$68 million fine in Mexico because they kept pressuring this little shop to stop stocking Big Cola, a Peruvian drink which was eating into the market share of Coke..
the owner of the little shop for fed up and made a complaint to the Anti-trust people in Mexico.. and Coca-Cola was instructed to cease and desist.. and was made to pay the huge fine!

Bear, try Maybank. They have a promo for > 2% FD for a yr.
Stanchart will give u a similar rate but for 2 to 3 mths only. They're basically playing a wait and see game. If competitors' rates go up, they will extend for another 1.5 mth, and so on...they've been playing this extending game since last year....silly childish ppl! Citibank gives about 2% but it comes with lotsa complicated conditions.
