I just had a nightmarish night last night. Totally exhausted now but still have to trudge on cause later, might have yet another war to fight with the upgrading contractors.
Times like these, I wish there was an SO in my life to frontline the whole thing. -

Rhonda: I read about last night. What a horror! As bad as it went, I suspect the cleaning and patching and renovation works ahead will be even worse ! Just your luck too that your upstairs neighbours are contractors, it'll be tricky getting compensation from them . Man it's really bad luck -
choco, yeah, it was an absolute nightmare. And I've worked myself ragged for hours last night, cleaning up the stinky, greasy mess, throwing out damaged stuff... but I'm keeping the damaged books to let them see.
I can't believe the folks upstairs are plumbers... and yet they committed such an error!
And last night, when MG said I should have better anger management, I felt like saying I'd love to see how he'd react when the kitchen pipes in his home bursts and spews forth a waterfall of stinky, ooey, greasy, murky brown water and NOBODY wanted to do anything about it! It was years of decayed foodstuff and what-not trapped in the crevices of the pipe that all burst forth in their glory to see light of day last night. -

I had a nightmarish night too....dreamt that I was having exams (again, after all these years)...including maths and geography!!
