There's nothing wrong with marketing to the gender. It's just a classification.
If a bank came out with a men's card nobody'd mind! There are already ads for men-only spas and beauty centers.
I think what may offend is the way the ads are crafted. If an ad puts down or degrades the opposite sex to sell the product, then someone will object to it.
"The men don't get it" campaign , IMO is pretty mild. -
Actually, that was a very clever marketing tagline which I'm sure many ad agencies would wish they'd thought of it. On a larger, global perspective, there are more discrimination and oppression suffered by women than men (e.g. glass ceiling, Taliban-like regime, patriarchal view of man, etc.), so the tagline is also a way of saying: "Hey, this is something special, purely for the liberated women only!"
It's very clever, really. Don't feel bad about it. After all, women all over the world have gotten over the bad treatment for decades/centuries.

actually it is easier to earn women's money leh.
in a way, the slogan 'men dun get it' only gives me the idea that ladies are more pampered and privileged.

i still prefer my robinson card.. or esprit haa...

so.. tell me this: if a bank or anything like that go with a Men's Card.. and pushes it like: the women don't get it... will they be sued for discrimination?

so, how come we endure discrimination against the men?
it is a sad world... if men "discriminate" against women and not allow them to do stuff or prohibit them from something (even if it was frontline combat), they get sued..
if women do the same, a whole lot of women go "you go! girl!"
