  sometimes, you come across as a "yep.. been there, done that.. i know everything.." type...
  
  the cynic comes through and it's not something which is good at all..
  
  especially if you are a mod somewhere that requires that you have nothing of that kind of mean cynicism at all..

  some people do... they keep grudges inside them forever..

  the cynical tend to try to portray themselves as "yeah yeah.. whatever" thinking it is cool and all that.. but everyone looks to them with "what a wanker" in their minds...
  
  frankly, i never gave it any thought at all until i dropped in and had a look..
  
  there is a line in Dilbert which got me thinking.. ".. so you are an expert in things you know nothing about.."
  
  i try never ever to become that person..
  
  and i pray others around don't become that person too... it may have been a gag but it said a lot about cynical people...
  
  and here's another.. don't sign off "cheers" if you do not mean it...
  
  when you took a shot at someone, you sure as hell didn't mean "cheers" or if you did, you would be hypocritical about it...
  
  don't become one of those.. words are all we have sometimes... and as you have seen with many in the forums, they have no credibility because their words betray their malicious thoughts and their duplicity..

  Interesting. It's not very often that one sees a mod chastising another mod in a discussion forum.
  
  But, in my opinion, if it's all for the better, then there's probably nothing wrong with that. We all inevitably make mistakes, and the mark of an effective moderator is his/her maturity in being able to admit to making them.

  When i do not have any knowledge about things i've come across. I won't act as if i know.
  When i do have certain knowledge, i share. If it does come across like 'what a wanker' impression of me.
  I really can't help it, only to correct myself and prevent myself from doing it again.

  Nothing complex about a cheers when i really felt nothing about Rhonda, just thought it was a misunderstanding.
  Maybe i'm too insensitive or maybe she too touchy about my comment.
  I was cool about the whole thing. And i meant Cheers means Cheers.
  
  I don't feel important to be frank. You don't see me posting much in that forum anyway, because i'm preventing myself from being a 'wanker', honest.
  I somewhat landed myself in a awkward position when i took up that role. Learning to adjust with it, or forgo it.

  i screwed up in my life many times.. one of the biggest screwups.. goodness knows.. i won't even go into that, not because i try to hide things.. but because a promise was made... even if the other side does not keep that promise, i will keep my end..

  learning from our mistakes and becoming a better person for it, ultimately, is the mark of our true humanity

  I got to know about it only recently.
  Sorry man.
  I happen to realise you haven't been to that forum for a long time.
  So i asked one of the forumer, came to know that there was a huge commotion. Well, i'll let it pass.
  
  I just wanted to post my feelings in this thread, but i don't feel anger or sacarsm...i don't know how to put it in words, i just wanted to say it's a misunderstanding and different perspective in interpretation.
  We can't really help but to apologise even for the things we didn't mean...ah well...the limitations of words and internet, at least to me, i feel this way.
  
  My motive in that particular post wasn't effective. Hmm...got to brush up on me english!

  it isn't about anything here.. there was a commotion.. i kept my word because i am like that... even if the whole world doesn't believe me, i will not back down..
  
  it was a screwup in my life that i backed down too much then.. maybe it's all good coz it made me who i am now..
  
  and we learn, and we grow... and become closer to that ideal person we all should aspire to be
  
  goodness knows most of us will never reach that ideal.. but it is good to try isn't it?
  
  in another thread in this forum, someone was asking.. maybe, letting go is part of love? i say it is.. and i wonder sometimes, for i see when people seek help, there are some who are broken hearted, or angry, or felt betrayed because they have been "let go"... even if they had no intention of being with their former partner, they feel betrayed...
  
  but i talk too much.. sometimes we have to let things go.. for everyone's sake... even if it hurts the other side, even if it hurts ourselves.. holding on to broken shards only leads to more bleeding, and we may never heal if we keep cradling that broken heart of glass
