I love to travel too. But right now, am limited by $$ and the rostering.
But oooh, good news... soon, I shall be earning more than twice my wages here!! And after taxes, I'll still earn much more!

Minute Maid? You like ah? I bought quite a lot during summer. The Lime ones. Then, I cut up the limes in cubes and place in ice cube tray. Pour in the lime juice and presto.....serve lime ice cubes with lime juice. Got this idea from the Canadian Living mag. -
Oh, sorry to hear that...does she miss her old job, salary and status? She actually didn't mind telling you her story? my colleague has a sad story.. she used to be media manager in one of the top organisations here, but due to family members getting sick and passing away and the stress she had to go thru', she decided to quit her job and work in this present job which pays 1/4 of what she used to get. she's more senior in a way but still my subordinate who's teaching me the tricks of the trade (i.e. office politics!) -

She didn't apply for any higher posts, not even mine, when my boss asked her to, cos she said she was thinking of quitting... then she said now that i'm here she will stick on...

You're even 'forced' to consume one week of leave within the first quarter in some wards!
You can consume 2 weeks at one shot, but it depends on the ward sisters; it's totally subject to their approval. -

I saw 1 guy brought 4 big bottles, 2 big cans and 2 normal can of Tiger beer at 1 go

Oh, forgot to add, some ward sisters FORBID single staff from applying for leave during the school holidays, because the married with kids staff would have priority then.

I don't know why your wife would limit your beer intake just cause she herself can't take it. I would only limit my hubby's intake due to health reasons, and even if I can't drink it cuz of breastfeeding, I won't stop him from doing so.
