I've got a friend who was given a pair of Robowski hamsters. She was told that if they are a couple, they cannot be separated.
She didn't believe, so she separated the male from the female. Soon, the male started to bite itself excessively till it bled!
He only stopped doing so when the female was put back into the same cage with him!
Hamsters also got love story one!

Passed by a neighbourhood store just now and saw a 'Black Bear hamster'! Soooo cuuuuute! It's fur is black and the tips of its limbs are beige!

they're cute little critters.. but i prefer the normal campbells -
I remember my flatmate and the yucky way he treated his hamsters!
They were HIS pets, but I was the one who bought the food, changed the bedding, played with the hamsters, changed the water in the bottle, etc.
Then later, when my pet cat came along, she considered them to be her pets, sitting outside their cages, observing them! -
