Best thing is, I don't really have to 'go get him' becuz he seems to like me and comes to me himself!
After today, he has earned major major brownie points for wanting to come to my aid when I really really needed it. Utterly grateful for a friend like that! -

Is anyone going to take responsibility for that incident? It definitely sounds like it's the fault of the contractor upstairs.

Huh?? How can a guy be THAT dumb to NOT know that he has feelings for me?? He seems like a very intelligent chap to me so I don't think he wouldn't know if he had feelings for me.

Things have been set in motion, deadlines are up and no... I don't wish to delay this any longer. I already have, for personal reasons, and I regret that decision. Oh well, I've proved resilient again once more! I think I looked pretty sinister to the guys living upstairs! I never knew I could shout so loud, expletives included too!
And yeah, tomorrow, the upgrading contractor is going to get absolute HELL from me! I had to wait more than one and a half freaking hours before they took action and I think I probably wore out my phone speakers, yelling into them so many times today!
I think that song, 'She is a devil-woman...' was written with me in mind! I really acted like I was a devil from hell tonight!
But hmm... I'm still loveable! -

Um, quick word of advice: don't go too overboard on the shouting and screaming part. The flooding might have been traumatic for you, but the important thing now is to get those responsible for it (i.e., the contractor) to make amends. Tell them what you want done; be firm, perhaps even forceful. But don't go flying off the handle with expletives and the whole nine yards, as it may diminish the contractor's resolve to make things right with you.Originally posted by Rhonda:Thanks, MG! I've found that, in dealing with others, even if they have done you wrong, a little diplomacy goes a long way.
Just a thought.
