Yup, confirmed!
Caffeine has a diuretic effect, which means, you end up passing more urine and if you don't replace that with fluids, you end up dehydrated. If you don't have sufficient fluids in your body, your bowels become erm... 'harder' and thus, voila! ... constipation!

Besides that, I guess u may need to eat regular meals, with sufficient fresh vegetables & fruits. Then coffee drinking shd not be an issue.

Wanna go downtown, but just remembered that it's the dreaded school holidays and there'll be noisy, rowdy kids about, parents on annual leave with their screaming brats... Ack! Don't feel like going out anymore!

So interesting... last night, when I was with a friend at Gluttons' Bay @ The Esplanade, we noticed they had set up a nice tentage at the far end, nearer the Singapore River. The folks seemed to be having a buffet but it appeared to be a private affair.
Turns out it was Hewlett Packard's Boot Camp event! Sounds kewl! Must be some kinda training / teamwork-building workshop and that was their dinner treat!
Times like that, I really miss my ol' corporate life with those huge American MNC's! -
What really sucks is that there are only what... 3-4 folks I know in my entire workplace who share the same sense of humour! The rest just stare at me blankly, or totally ignore me (because I'm their 'junior').
Previously, I had a bunch of colleagues on the same wavelength but since entering nursing, I just plain stick out like a sore thumb.
Now, I frequently get teased about my English too. -

Nope. But the majority are better in their 2nd language, and words that are common to me and that I use in my chit chat with them, astounded them and they started to say, 'Waaaah! I dunno leh .... some of the people in the term were so impressed with HP that they went to work for the company after NS ...
they are certainly performance oriented for sure ....
but i guess they are much better than say ... working in a Japanese or local company ....
I've heard horror stories from other peeps on industrial attachment before ....
