And oh, I wanna visit the souvenir shop @ the Esplanade because they have these kewl embroidered Christmas cards that I think my American friends would really appreciate! So, a stop there is a must!

It was because of my gruelling night duties that sapped me of my strength! I soooo want to do a good, thorough job but I keep missing out on the charting and paperwork. I'm distressed because I really WANT to be good at my work.

Once at a dinner, I met a female acquaintence I haven't seen for a while. She came with husband and baby (explains first statement). We got to talking and then she started trying to sell me the pro-baby argument.
She said "It's better to have a child when you're young, you know?"
I said bluntly, "No, I don't think so."
Relatives I can put up with, but not drivel coming from peers.
With relatives I just smile benignly and say "Leave it to nature". Nicely non-commital and vague to keep 'em guessing

Thanks for the tip on Carrefour, elindra. I got some fr Fairprice in the early morning, but they only had 4 pcs, 2 of which were quite fat...and that was it! They are quite expensive, aren't they?
I've been buying loads of ang mo herbs over the past week and even got 2 live herb machines - basil and mint plants. Finally I can try those ang moh recipes and what nots, for a change. -
