If you've ever stood, without hearing protection, near a firearm as it discharges, you'll know what I mean.![]()
I seeOriginally posted by the Bear:we never ever turn away traffic..
except at Tuas.. we do not allow bicycles to depart but if bicycles come in, we allow them entry...

But for buses, I heard you have to leave by bus at Tuas right?
I seeOriginally posted by the Bear:no walking allowed.. but normal transport, we never turn away anyone at all

Because there is this SBS Sv 182 that calls Tuas Checkpoint during peak hrs and selected times of the day...

yah.. that's the bus i used to take to work...
shift workers charter their own bus
But now there is only 1 CSS sv leftOriginally posted by Meia Gisborn:Ah, yes. The good old days of riding SBS/TIBS/CSS buses. One could never escape the crowds on the overloaded buses, especially during peak hours. My fondest memories:
- The bloody inconsiderate standees on a crowded bus who refuse to move to the rear to make room for boarding passengers.
- Passengers with BO. 'Nuff said.
- The 'pedal-pumping' drivers who, for whatever reason, can never accelerate and decelerate smoothly, and can never maintain a constant speed even on a clear stretch of road. These drivers prove you don't need to be in an accident to get whiplash!
No, thanks. I've ridden my share of NAC buses before, and have experienced the 'pleasure' of being in one when it was crowded onboard and raining outside.Originally posted by sbst275:MG, if you missed taking non aircon buses around CBD, better come back to SG faster
SBS mths back deployed non aircon buses to Sv 32 that runs past Bugis Junction, City Hall and Clarke Quay... Board bef they retire in 2007
Because Sv 32's demand has been very weak. Frequency is 11-17 mins. Sv 186 is worst, to Shenton Way, 9 non aircon and 2 aircon buses deployed... But frequency is like 16-19 minsOriginally posted by Meia Gisborn:No, thanks. Why in blazes would SBS deploy NAC buses on a major route in this day and age???

Its like those type you are wearing now.
Most silver i have seen are not that shiny though.Originally posted by the Bear:that's silver... you can either buy a polishing cloth which has some chemical in it, or get some silver dip liquid.. quite cheap.. $2 for a small piece of cloth which will go a long way, or $5 for a small bottle of liquid..
i use the cloth
