Now is the best time to get the ex-board punished... Though it is a hard lesson learnt, but I think it is the most effective detterant for such incidents in the future -
if you search the forums, i was one of those who said that there were signs..
and a few years before i came back to the forums, i already knew..
and if a layman like me knows, it would be a failure of the board of directors if they didn't even know... -

The scary thing is that all this would not have come out if Durai had not sued the Straits Times. Guess he felt that with the ex-PM's wife as his fairy godmother, he could do anything.
Amazingly, instead of apologising, he still maintains that he did not do anything wrong!
These people are all from a different strata of society from the rest of us, and really do feel that they deserve to fly first class instead of economy class like the rest of us peasants, as well as the other perks. Remember his fairy godmother's "peanuts" comment? As well as her comment that a big fuss was being made over nothing? She definitely meant every single word she said, despite her later claim to the contary.

i think there was a dereliction of duty among the members of the board of directors...
they were supposed to keep an eye on the organisation and the coffers.. they didn't.. at all.. -

you know ... those companies that stock up on photographer's photos and sell them to whoever wants it in a magazine or whatever .... that's how most photographers eat i suppose, if you're not a photojournalist or on contract ....Originally posted by kopiosatu:not yet, but i gotta be ready.

frankly ... i have this feeling that in photography your portfolio is more important that whatever paper that you have lor ... -

hmmmm .... I'm not so sure about that .... because I tried searching and my google/yahoo skills totally suck.
