Wondering if littlestream will be here tonight.
Just finished watching the Jing1 Zhi1 Yu4 Ye4 series and cried buckets! The series is soooo tragic! Almost everyone died and those who survived don't have a good future ahead.
No wonder the guy at the VCD store warned me it's a very tragic series. -

And, I like it here cause there are lots of imports from Japan, Korea, and Taiwan too. Sometimes, you can get pretty nice stuff from these countries.

Erm.... here you can get the Hong Kong street fashion.. they do lots of jap copies. A huge variety of stuff... all the way to Italian stuff. -

Don't forget the high taxes. I paid ... a substantial amount of tax last year. -

Well, at the beginning, she seemed cruel, wicked and utterly despicable, but in the end, all the concubines proved to have complex characters - they are neither totally good nor totally bad. I like that - the characters aren't one-dimensional.
I liked the Chief Maid, On-Sin, until she seduced the Emperor and started to join in the foray too.
Do you think Yuk-Fei is the prettiest? She seems to know that too and certainly used that to her full advantage!
And who can leave out Yee-Shun? Being made use of by the Eunuch Tsun all along.
I think the most tragic character in the end, is Yue Fei. Her last words... ''Here has been my home for so many years - and also my tomb in the future!"
The silhouette of her standing alone, glancing at the palace grounds is soooo... tragic!
