think if a tank would add or subtract to the decor..
and.. if it is vulnerable.. coz you need to do chores like cleaning.. accidental smashing of the tank = everything around it is destroyed -

The whole place is like open concept and you stick a tank in the middle of no where -

actually, a tank there would not be right...
stingrays need a shallow and broad tank.. as they are bottom-dwellers..

How wide, wide enough to obstruct movement ? Cover alot of floor space? What shape is it (i mean length x width viewed from the top ) , squarish or rectangle?
I think it could work, like a partition thing. Some people build the the tank into the decor by doing a built-in frame / tank, in keeping with theme of room , but need $.
