How about dogs?
Usually i am ok with dogs, but nowadays seems dogs just give me the strange looks, some even bark

Rhonda, how much are the animal calendars being sold at borders?
I saw some at Artfriend and the smaller ones cost $6 while the large ones $20-$22. They have calendars on cats, dogs, Dilbert (I'm so tempted to get the 365 dilbert a yr), motivational, Winnie the Pooh (for ah lau), Non sequiteur, chicken soup, etc. etc.
I got one on cats and kittens for 365 days of the year, so I get 365 kitties - which are real pets owned by real ppl (not the prettified pet in a studio), and they have a little tip/snippet at the bottom about the pet. Very cute.

That's why I love it when there's a cat around... they can sense the presence of ghosts and if they act normally, then I don't see any grounds for panic.
But, when they DO act funny, and my three cats in my ol' Marsiling place DID act funny on TWO occasions, man, that's when you KNOW that they're there!!

Talking about freaky movies... i am immune to scary and gruesome
movies... still a wee bit squirmish on some gruesome scenes lol.
I think i have watched all the horror flicks, including f-grade ones lol.
But there was one movie that kinda freaked me for a day or two..
Event Horizon with Sam Neil.
Another great flick i recommend is "In the mouth of madness"
very interesting psych film. Not actually scary just disturbing and funny
too... another great performance from Sam Neil. -

Did you watch "Shutter" Try getting it there. It's a Thai horror movie and I think that is the best horror movie to me. I liked "The Eye" as well -

The Eye & Shutter scared the hell out of me because I could relate to them and you know with the current supersition and beliefs we have as well kinda helped the scare factor.

Every year, I'll get the 365 Cats a Year desktop calendar by Workman Publishing. (I realised there are quite a few 365 Cats a Year desktops around! )
There's now a calendar booth at Ngee Ann City's basement, to the side of the fountain. They have a few shelves of cat calendars too!
There's a Helen Steiner Rice wall calendar with flower photos and Rice's prose to one side of it that I'm coveting!
And still waiting for Borders to have their discounts on the calendars although quite worried that those I want would be sold during the Christmas gifts frenzy! There are two cat wall calendars that I desire still... one of them paintings of cats by Charles Wysocki. Heard of him? One of his famous paintings is of Frederick the Literate! Also available as a Cross-Stitch pattern!

I stood at the entrance to my bathroom, checking my reflection in the mirror inside when suddenly, EVERYTHING behind me appeared WHITE and just as suddenly, swoosh... it passed by!!!
I was sooooo shocked, I stood there without moving for a moment!
My kitchen was dark with only the lights in the bathroom turned on. So it was unmistakable when the dark kitchen background reflected in the mirror suddenly became stark white!!
I turned around slowly to look, but nothing... ran to the window to see... nothing.
It was only about a week later that I realised... shit!! That was the 7th month period!
Spooked the HELL outta me!! -
