Whats a cat supposed to do for you? wouldnt a dog offer betterOriginally posted by Rhonda:I'm pretty ok leh! Most scary movies aren't that scary at all!
The only movies that spooked me were Ju-On!That one got me really scared I live alone, see, so every little sound I heard, got me jittery and all panicky!

But that's over now!
That's why I love it when there's a cat around... they can sense the presence of ghosts and if they act normally, then I don't see any grounds for panic.
But, when they DO act funny, and my three cats in my ol' Marsiling place DID act funny on TWO occasions, man, that's when you KNOW that they're there!!![]()

i am imagining your place with mirrors on every window?
Talking about freaky movies... i am immune to scary and gruesome
movies... still a wee bit squirmish on some gruesome scenes lol.
I think i have watched all the horror flicks, including f-grade ones lol.
But there was one movie that kinda freaked me for a day or two..
Event Horizon with Sam Neil.
Another great flick i recommend is "In the mouth of madness"
very interesting psych film. Not actually scary just disturbing and funny
too... another great performance from Sam Neil.
The Eye and The Eye 2 were good!!Originally posted by elindra:But it's such a cute puppy. At least I don't think any dog will be as pyscho as the Japanese Spitz I used to have
Did you watch "Shutter" Try getting it there. It's a Thai horror movie and I think that is the best horror movie to me. I liked "The Eye" as well
Erhmm I'm not to keen on the Korean and Japanese horror productions because they are kinda far-fetched and they tend to put me to sleepOriginally posted by Rhonda:The Eye and The Eye 2 were good!!
The Koreans, Japs, and Thais produce really great horror movies.![]()
Borders sell their wall calendars for $26.90-29.95, thereabouts.Originally posted by Wanda:Rhonda, how much are the animal calendars being sold at borders?
I saw some at Artfriend and the smaller ones cost $6 while the large ones $20-$22. They have calendars on cats, dogs, Dilbert (I'm so tempted to get the 365 dilbert a yr), motivational, Winnie the Pooh (for ah lau), Non sequiteur, chicken soup, etc. etc.
I got one on cats and kittens for 365 days of the year, so I get 365 kitties - which are real pets owned by real ppl (not the prettified pet in a studio), and they have a little tip/snippet at the bottom about the pet. Very cute.![]()

A cat would alert you to the intrusion of a spirit by its behaviour. Then, I'll usually tell the spirit to just pass by peacefully - I didn't disturb it, so please don't disturb me. Like that.Originally posted by Kan_i:Whats a cat supposed to do for you? wouldnt a dog offer better

Oh, thanks.....though I'm trying hard not to collect too many cat things....les ppl think I'm a maniac. Also, I'm trying to make do with fewer things than more....must try to be more Zen (minimalist approach)...but it's very very difficult esp. whenever I go to the bookshops and to Daiso.Originally posted by Rhonda:Wanda, you may view a few more of Charles Wysocki's cat paintings in this website :

So if a cat is restful, I'll know that if I'm feeling skittish, it's just my active imagination at work!![]()
Why should my place have mirrors on every window?
Anyways, a few months back, I had a hair-raising encounter with something I saw in my bathroom mirror!!![]()

And it's got nothing to do with my reflection, ok!

I stood at the entrance to my bathroom, checking my reflection in the mirror inside when suddenly, EVERYTHING behind me appeared WHITE and just as suddenly, swoosh... it passed by!!!![]()

I was sooooo shocked, I stood there without moving for a moment!
My kitchen was dark with only the lights in the bathroom turned on. So it was unmistakable when the dark kitchen background reflected in the mirror suddenly became stark white!!![]()

I turned around slowly to look, but nothing... ran to the window to see... nothing.
It was only about a week later that I realised... shit!! That was the 7th month period!![]()

Spooked the HELL outta me!!![]()
