Everytime we admit a patient with ''AML'', we feel sad because we know that he/she will die very very soon. Sometimes, by the time the condition is diagnosed, the patient has extremely little time left and may not even be conscious to have his / her last words with the loved ones. I know of a patient who died in less than a week after diagnosis.
Hope you'll stand by your friend and provide a bit of comfort to him, Dennis. -
