  That reminds me, I want to get one of those compact fuji digicams that have up to iso1600 setting so that I can take indoor pics at night without flash. The results are much nicer than the flashlight on subject at night effect you typically get from using a flash at night or while indoors!

  Not sure, I think under 1k. I want to get one before I fly to Vegas. I could load high speed film into my slr but I don't want to lug a big heavy camera around.
  
  Are you even allowed to use cameras at the night safari? Never been there and I'd expect cameras to be banned because the flash hurts the animals' eyes.
