It was worn to my organisation's Annual Medical... something. It was a big annual event where we had to ballot to see if we could go and it was at a 5-star Hotel, and we were told to go in evening wear.
Unfortunately, it was in a dull colour and mom insisted that it's better for us to wear bright colours to my bro's wedding. And definitely no black.
So, because I kept insisting the brown gown was ok, she realised she had to pay for the second gown if she wanted to make sure I did not wear the brown gown!
Ok, ok... I kinda 'strategised' ... I really don't mind a second gown... and a free one too, at that! So there!
