There's this controversy about the norwegian black metal band mayhem playing here. Their songs is about sex and violence, i mean the music scene is flooded with rappers rapping about sex and violence and in gangsta style too, why isn't there more controversy about that??

They're no longer new here, the controversy and publicity against them has died down somewhat, but that doesn't mean that they have been accepted as 'mainstream culture'.
I guess it all depends on whether people bother to make noise about it. I mean, if those who dislike the groups don't kpkb, then there won't be any opposition. But if a few outspoken people voice their displeasure and disapproval, then it becomes news! -

There's this legendary taiwanese death metal band called chthonic, chinese name is shang ling. they won the taiwan jin qu jiang before and that award was presented by ah bian to them.
They're probably the darkest band i listen to.
