I want a balcony or a seperate area for plants and a telescope mount.
I would love to have a walk-in library for all my books and collectibles from over the years.
A workroom with a open glass workstation would be nice, and it should preferably have a large window for sunlight.
Then a little movie den with a fridge for drinks and stuff.
Whole house/flat to be wireless and with powerful speakers for immersive gaming or movie experience.
Well, that's my dream bachelor pad..if only it was on the top of one of those apartments facing the CBD. -

Yes, that's for real, as a house that's on / near the ocean is subjected to a lot more salt-water spray than a house set farther back. My dream home... hmm.. hoping to purchase one by the end of this year!
I'd like at least 3 bedrooms (master bedroom, 2nd bedroom as guest room for parents or gd pals to stay, and the third, either as a computer room or for junior!). All rooms would have alot of drawer space to keep everything away from dust & make the place look neat & tidy. Would like a separate dining area from a fairly large living area (good for quite a no. of people to gather in, e.g. for a birthday party or Bible study group!). Would be nice to have a water feature in the living room like a small indoor pond for fish (water feature will help cool the place down too, I reckon!)
To me, the bathroom is the most important place in the house! I'd like mine to be fairly large, with a shower stall AND a bathtub, and still have plenty of space for toiletries & stuff. hehe... if got money, i'd like to add in a jacuzzi
Kitchen should be bright & airy & face the garden instead of some brick wall or the neighbour's! It should have alot of cupboard space for utensils, condiments & appliances as well as cookbooks as I like the 'uncluttered' look & like everything to be kept away neatly.

I haven't discussed this with her yet. We have our own needs.
P.S. If there's a way to keep all sorts of bugs out we'll take it. -

Well my first home turned out pretty much what I wanted (It has a tatami, it has a pond (tiny one)). I'm never a big fan of the walk-in wardrobe unless it is as big as a room
One thing I didn't get which I really one is an outdoor kitchen which we had in my old place (parent's home) The space and the feeling of cooking "outdoors" is fun, plus you do get interesting visitors like inquinsitive birds when you're cooking and the neighbour's cat .
Anyway my dream home is not one by the sea (the corrosion to metals is not a myth) but one near a forest/park, near a lake with mountains in the background (Something like those nice quaint villages in Austria....or something like Queenstown in NZ) where I Can have a GIANT koi pond with a pavillion in the middle , a nice garden with a BBQ area which leads to an outdoor kitchen. -
Shelves to keep the books
Display cabinet for nel's collection
1 Plasma TV
Latest game console (no xbox for me)
DVD player (or whateva.. the latest one)
2 PCs, or 1 for each member of the family (maybe have a long stretch in the gaming room for all the pcs.. at least until they're old enuff to rush projects and etc... den we'll move the pc (or buy a new one) to their rooms)
a nice, simple wardrobe for everyone
have bean bags to sit on instead of sofas (i can stuff the bean bags somewhere out of sight when there's no visitors )
and a mini fridge in the gaming room -
For now, at least 2 room is left empty
The kiddy room is still empty, study room is empty except for 1 table to keep my barang barang...
Think in no time, it would be occupied -
