Seven years of sacrifice and pain will make the payoff all that much sweeter. I am very, very happy for you.Originally posted by Rhonda:I just completed my last round of night duties this morning and I had the rest of today, tomorrow, and the next day off!
After that, I have to work for six more days before I sing my swansong!
These past few weeks have been very eventful for me!Thanks to my accummulated leave and unclaimed public holidays, my last day of work is the 25th... and I'll be able to take a long breather and relax and get rid of the nasty memories and bad aftertaste before packing up and moving on to start a new chapter of my life - a chapter that took almost seven long years of sacrifice and pain to achieve.

Nope... details are still being worked out. I only know now that I'll definitely leave before the 1st quarter of the year ends.Originally posted by Meia Gisborn:Seven years of sacrifice and pain will make the payoff all that much sweeter. I am very, very happy for you.
Are your living and working arrangements in Australia all set? Do you have a confirmed departure date?
Don't worry... I'm a list-maker and someone who loves to organise things ahead of time. I'm the pain-in-the-neck student who draws up schedules for her project team-mates and makes sure everyone knows what they're responsible for and the deadlines!Originally posted by the Bear:don't let the "leisurely pace" take over too much..
else you may find that the next day is the date of departure and you're not halfway ready
