Packing's going slow and steady. I guess I'll go full speed ahead after my last day of work.
It's going to be an extremely daunting task... it's so hard to discard most of what I own now!
SL says I have to be vicious almost, about giving / throwing stuff. Bear said so too! -

Yeap, hubby is great. He takes very good care of me when I am unwell. And actually, I do the same for him too. But you know, Rhonda, we have had our fair share of "battles" in the past. We only have God to thank for what and where we are today. -

And yes... last day's soon because of my accummulated annual leave and public holidays (they still owe me last year's Deepavali and my Christmas and New Year was only just given).
At work, I've felt a tremendous sense of relief, almost like a huge, crippling burden has been lifted off me. It's been seven long years of torture, of being bullied by my seniors; of hearing sarcastic, taunting remarks almost everyday from either my colleagues, superiors, or the patients and their visitors; of knowing that I don't belong... I've never had it this bad.
God has been gracious though and He has not tested me beyond what I can bear. Always, just when I think I'm exceeding breaking point, someone appears with a kind word, a pat on my shoulder, etc.
A close colleague, who's now my dear friend, told me that she knows I'm being taunted by my new bunch of colleagues and once commented that she thought I was very brave, knowing that I'm going to work amidst a pack of wolves who'll tear me apart and yet, bravely walking right into their midst everyday. When she said she admired me for being courageous, I almost cried, because here's someone who knows what I'm being subject to! 
So, it's with great relief that I close this chapter of my life.
I'm looking forward to what's waiting for me over there, but also making use of my last weeks here, slowly packing up, meeting up with close friends and long-lost friends to let them know, and spending time with my loved ones. It's a time for reflection, a time for planning, a time for tying up loose ends, a time of forgetting what's bad and looking forward to what is to come...
I relish every moment of this transition period. A dream I've held for a long time and have sacrificed a lot for is finally becoming reality!! And I'm now right at the threshold of it!! Exciting stuff!! -

Erm....pai seh......forgot about the CNY snacks. Fung li su. But not excessive ley. And err....just opened the tin of egg rolls. I can't stay home. I become a rat and go look for food. Anyways, ate one row of egg rolls. No need to eat by the sink, use plate. Hmm.........YUMMY!
