I sometimes think that lots of older folks, for whatever reason(well actually I have a few theories but don't want to start a flame war here) want to make the lives of younger people miserable. Sometimes you just get really mad. If guns were legal in this country I might already have killed someone(Interestingly, statistics show that domestic homicide spikes during festive seasons, esp in countries like the US) . Anyway, I've learnt to deal with it better. usually when there's a major argument at home i'll do my own stuff until the screaming gets out of hand, i'll step out of my room and tell everyone to just "SHUT UP!!! and stop the bloody arguing", after which i'll dish out the solutions. and go back to my room. after that its all quiet again.
but a major argument hasn't broken out in years la. nowadays when i'm around no one argues even though i know there's potential for an argument when they exchange words. -
