it was made funnier coz we were at the 7-11 and he was playing on the arcade game in there...

Oh, just an update on my steamboat eh? That fish maw which I put so much effort in (and perhaps was unnecessary) tasted terrible. I had one bite and throw the whole thing out!
And they were not cheap, well, by my standard lah. Certainly, doesn't taste like what I had before. Guess, I ain't cooking it ever.
And nobody, I say, NOBODY wants to eat the Chinese mushrooms/dried oysters/fatt choy that I braised for hours. No, I didn't throw it out. Gave some to my friend and ate it myself for the next three days.
This weekend, I will be cooking porridge for lunch and will be trying out Bear's tips on the chai poh omelette. Hope it will turn out fine.

Yeap, will bear that in mind too. In fact, I never knew about hot wok sealing in flavours until skeujin's tip/post. I think I need to go cooking school.
But then, over-heated oil is cancer causing agent is it? -
