I've a M'sian friend. She holds a full time job but her passion for baking, enrolled into a course. Now? She gets invited overseas and appeared on our local Chinese channels to showcase her skills. She renovated her basement and holds classes there too.

I usually bunch up the flowers, then hang them upside-down below my desk in the office. Eh, your mum is the guru ah? Can get to know her or not? Is she peranakan? I really want to learn the tricks from Bengawan Solo. No, no. Not that I want to open one in Toronto. I really like their stuff. I have improved on my "nine layer cake" since using wet rice flour but still, I can't get it like the Bengawan Solo ones? My friend said use richer coconut milk so the oil makes it easy to peel each layer. Do you agree? -
