How Do You Think You Will React If A Relative Annouces That

  He has gone through a sex-change operation and is now female?
  
  Personally, I don't care because that is the person's choice though it's gonna be juicy gossip for a long long time though I think the older generation will all be in shock.

  Hmm... if I were close to that relative, I'd feel odd talking to him... oops, sorry... her when she comes back. I would feel uneasy and honestly wouldn't know how to approach him... oops, sorry again... her.
  
  If I'm not close, I guess it'll just be family gossip that I'll partake in just cause I'm kay poh.
  
  I guess we'll all be curious about how he ... ooops, sorry... she looks like after the op and all that.
  
  I hope their parents were informed of the decision beforehand otherwise, it'll be quite a shock!

  More seriously, this is one topic that i do not realy understand or even can empathise with.
  
  Yes i have heard from transsexual/gender counselors, that its a matter of identity nothing to do with sexuality. Which is why people such as these do not consider themselves gay and will not have a gay partner and be content with such a relationship. They want to be a woman (or man i guess) as they most identify themselves and believes that they have been born the "wrong" gender.
  
  But wow how hard would it be for your family, wife and if u say that kids are involved, no matter the age, would be awfully stressing to say the least.
  
  LOL i think you read to much articles. LOL having said that i have watched a full doco on this topic before aswell as some tid bits from transgender counsellors lol.

  Anyways if they have a strong relationship they will remain friends if not, sad to say the relationship will end and he will probably feel so abandonned. Ofcourse i shoulde be using "she", but for point of confusion i will use he.
  
  If you ever wanted to test then magical moments where u stare into each other eyes lost and transfixed and say "I will love you regardless.." or "our relationship is deeper than sex and physical looks" or "till death do us part" or my favourite "we are best freinds and soulmates for ever, first and foremost" then i see no better way .

  if he/she is above 30s, they will be view as aliens. must wait until so long before decide male and female?
  if below 30s, maybe consider finding own destiny. but maybe i dont wana get too close to them. wait, relative thought i also same gang cham liao.
  
  seriously in our society, still not acceptable. personally i quite anti-trans and seriously because i dont share their mentality thus also very difficult to understand their thoughts. if we dont understand , hard to accept.
