I also don't mind old gothic style architecture as seen in some of the worlds cathedrals... especially notre dame.
Then there is a really cool architect by the name of Calatrava that has really sinuey swooping architecture that is very impressive. Also Zaha Hadid another architect who has really organic lines.
Most notably the two architects which influenced my career path and design ideals are Frank Llyod Wright and Fay Jones.
My wife's uncle in singapore is also an architect...

I flipped through an American mag once and saw this sprawling house with a staggered backyard deck on a cliff! Beautiful!! You can enjoy the breeze and watch the ocean from the deck... but hopefully, the wood never gets destroyed by termites otherwise, it's a long fall down!

errr... that is not my new house, it is a home I am designing for a client of mine here in Adelaide. Will be getting building approvals soon.

Good morning, Jivers!
I woke up not too long ago. Somehow, not feeling well. Body feels warmer than usual inside, and nose feels a tad stuffed-up. Uh oh... 
Foreboding...
Anyways, had a really really weird dream just before I got up! Dreamt I was working in this new age type of zoo that's built on a multi-storey building with generous ceilings for every floor. Right at the rooftop, is the display for our cobras and snakes.
So, apparently, I was a staff there and I decided to go check on the snakes. Took a lift up there, walked towards the huge enclosure, and had the SHOCK of my life!!
The snakes had become HUGE!! Three times the length of an average human, and their girth was like the waist of a petite girl's! The enclosure was SWARMING with them, and they were all white snakes with yellow markings on them. Some of them had three or four heads!
I quickly walked past, wondering how in the world had this enclosure become like that, then it struck me that perhaps, all the staff had 'forgotten' about the snake exhibit since it was located at the rooftop. I turned to a colleague and we headed towards the staircase on the other end, wondering what to do, when suddenly, the snakes started to slam themselves against a part of the metal mesh... and then, the metal mesh gave way!!! They spilled out of their enclosure and started to eat up people!! We ran for our lives!!
Then, the snakes entered the building and caused great mayhem! Lots of folks were eaten up. They swarmed the city, eating up everyone in sight!
The entire dream was a lot of running and close shaves and escaping and all that. There was even a mad escape via car! Ended up, I rounded up a few folks, ran into a building that was also overrun by the snakes, but we managed to barricade ourselves into a room with windows where we could watch the snakes outside whilst we waited for our deaths...
Then, I woke up.
Biangz... what a dream!!
BTW, dreaming of giant white 'n' yellow snakes... auspicious or not?

Sigh.... I had a dream yesterday about being chased too
I guess it's due to the deadlines I have to meet for a bunch of stuff. Think I was chased by zombies or something but basically it looks like a D grade horror movie -

Alamak! And I thought that dreaming of the snakes might be a good sign and that I should rush out and purchase ToTo or something! Now I know they aren't harbingers of good luck at all! Bleah!
